In celebration of Earth Science Week 2024, October 13-19, the Orton Geological Museum presents a new Digital Exhibit, Stones with Stories 2024. 

National Fossil Day will be Wednesday, October 16. That day we will feature a special fossil.

Join us each day on the Museum’s webpage, on Facebook, or on Instagram as we explain the fascinating backstory of an interesting rock, mineral, or fossil!

At the end of Earth Science Week 2024, each specimen will be displayed in the Orton Museum tent at WestFest (Saturday, October 19). Come experience these wonderful pieces close-up!
