Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Digitizing the Research Collection

The Orton Geological Museum includes a collection of more than 1,000,000 rock, mineral, and specimens. In 2020, we began a long-term project to digitize the collection, beginning with uploading the handwritten entries in the catalog to an electronic catalog system. This will significantly enhance access to the resources in the research collection.
