Central Ohio has a new magazine that brings awareness of nature, science, and sustainability. Ribbit! launched in Autumn 2024, and publishes quarterly. The magazine is written with kids in mind, but adults will find it interesting too! The publication is available online and in hardcopy form at various locations around central Ohio such as public libraries and the Orton Geological Museum. 

Check out the first issue of Ribbit! - readers can learn about the minerals that are used to make cell phones, and the amazing fossils you can collect in central Ohio (as well as in the Lake Erie islands area), among many other things.

Ribbit! will be available at WestFest on Saturday, October 19. The Orton Museum will be there too, and will have actual examples of the minerals used to make cell phones that you can experience for yourself! These are just like the ones featured in the first issue of the magazine.
