Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Dinosaurs at the Orton Geological Museum

The Orton Museum has casts of the skeletal material of Tyrannosaurus rex (T. rex) from the Cretaceous of Montana and Cryolophosaurus ellioti from the Jurassic of Antarctica on display, as well as actual specimens of the bones of other dinosaurs. Here are links to some of these displays:

In addition, the Orton Museum displays feature large Quaternary mammals and many other extinct animals and plants. A favorite of visitors is the giant ground sloth Megalonyx.
